September Dinner Recap

Paprika hosted dinner club this month in a new location - the Masonic Village!

so that our special guest, Pickles could join us!  Here is her homemade batch she inspired!

The dinner club gals made a "dinner you couldn't refuse!!"

Thanks to Pickles for reserving the community kitchen and her table layout and decorations!

 

Saucy started us off with delectable breaded parmesan zucchini sticks dipped in Paprika's doctored sauce - gave it a little zing!

We raised of glass of Paprika's wine selection - Salute!!

And enjoyed her main course of zucchini pancakes and Eggplant Parmesan!  Her first time with the versatile, but tricky purple plant and she excelled!

Couscous' Italian staples of Greens and Beans and Garlic Bread accompanied the main course!

And to go with the beans she brought along.....

 a nice Chianti!

Grapes topped off the evening with a fabulous tiramisu cake, though not quite traditional tiramisu - she substituted Bailey's for Kahlua which put a yummy spin on the dessert of the Old Country so even anti-java Saucy enjoyed it!

Dinner was delizioso!  Though we may not be invited back to the Village.
While we weren't the cause of the leak, I swear, we did discover it and did our best to clean it up, but I'm pretty sure this was our first and last time there!

Looks like they'll have to call in "Sam the Plumber"!
