FEBRUARY DINNER RECAP
After a month hiatus, We're Ba-ack!!!!
Grapes welcomed us with a "subway" board and menu board of the evening's edibles!
As always, she had a beautiful table display!
While sadly none of us are a true "ginger", nor did we dye our "roots" for this month's dinner club...
we did try to fashion our own original dishes from this sassy plant - GINGER!
Grapes got the party started with Moscow Mules
No, not THAT mule! THESE tasty mules
Paprika had us ready to pull a cart to be rewarded
with
Gingered Carrot Latkes and
Apple, Green Onion and Jalapeno Salsa
Grapes' first attempt at tofu was a success!!! (No, tofu does NOT have the flavor of straw!).
She created flavorful
ginger/coconut tofu and
ginger/coconut chicken bites over
pineapple rice.

She also had candied ginger for sampling,that had quite a kick!

Couscous' stubborn side dish of Ginger Carrot Soup was tasty, well what was left anyway after some tricky traffic maneuvers on the way to dinner club.

Saucy completed the evening
with a wonderfully warm
Ginger Pear Crisp over frozen yogurt,
Ginger Snaps and
Ginger Tea!
Yet another successful night of good eats and lots of hee-hawing!
