Paprika hosted a fantastic night of Fat Tuesday festivities!
Saucy began the bacchanalia with Bourbon Street style shrimp and chicken.

Her wine tribute to Bacchus was an Oyster Bay Pinot Noir
Paprika's marvelous main course was a traditional muffuletta (olive salad, salami, ham, provolone, mozzarella)
and not so traditional a/k/a vegetarian muffuletta (olive salad, peppers, provolone, mozzarella)
Grapes' scrumptuous side dishes: a Southern speciality - Fried Green Tomatoes with a spicy sauce!
and King's Slaw (green cabbage, purple cabbage, yellow pepper and a spicy horseradish dressing)
Her selection for the evening's "Salute!" was a Sauvignon Blanc by Natura
Couscous concluded the evening with a Mardi Gras tradition: the King's Cake!
Grapes discovered the lucky piece which means she will not only have good luck to come, but must also be the hostess of next year's Mardi Gras festivities!
Unfortunately, the traditional baby proved to be difficult to find, so Couscous improvised...
Yes, it is a toy solider good luck charm (work with it!)
